Travertine Marble is a very dense form of Calcium Carbonate resulting from spring or river deposits. Although a Limestone, Travertine is more usually considered to be a Marble
Due to it's formation, voids occur in the surface, these are either filled at the quarry to provide a honed and filled finish, or filled with grout during fixing. These voids are the main characteristic of Travertine and they give a wonderful warm and textured appearance that is so sought after in today's interiors. Travertine is a hard durable stone and we offer a selection of either filled or un-filled Travertine from the best quarries in the world.
